Jennifer joined the Veterans of Foreign Wars Auxiliary in 2016, by a suggestion of her dear friend Heather Smithson.  Jennifer joined under her grandfather Kenneth McQueary who served in the Army from 1967 to 1972 where he died in Germany; (he received his Vietnam Service Medal, marksmanship, and a meritorious medal before passing).

She has been active in her local auxiliary helping plan and organizing numerous events. As well as holding offices in her local Auxiliary and District. She loves meeting new people and visiting with the veterans.

Jennifer was born and raised in Scottsdale, Arizona; but spent her summers in Illinois.  She eventually relocated to Illinois permanently in 2008 to raise her oldest daughter who is now a PFC in the United States Marine Corp. And her youngest daughter who is a freshman in High school.

Her hobbies include gardening, helping on the small farm she lives on, sewing and now learning to crochet.
