I joined the VFW Auxiliary after my honorable discharge from the USMC under my husband, a USMC Vietnam War veteran.  We have two grown children, both of whom are veterans.  Because of the disgraceful treatment of Vietnam War veterans by society in general, I have tried to be an advocate for all veterans.  I have been an active member of several veteran organizations and have held various positions, but in particular, I have tried to bring visibility and knowledge to veterans who are at risk in their emotional health and wellbeing.  I hope to continue to speak out for all veterans.
