Born and raised a country girl and still in the country in Virginia, IL.  I have been a Life Member of Gutherie-Pierce Post 1239 in Beardstown for over 20 years. I joined under the eligibility of my father who was a WWII veteran. My family has a long history of veterans starting with my grandfather in WWI; father, WWII and son in Iraq Freedom. This is why I have a deep compassion for veterans.  They hold a special place in my heart.

I have held several positions in my auxiliary, last being President, then moved to District level with several positions.  Department Level being Americanism Chairman.

Hobbies; hunting fishing, gardening, baking, crafts and just being outside.

It will be an enjoyable year "Navigating” with President Cindy.
