I joined the VFW Aux in 1996, through my father who was in WWII serving in the navy. I am a life member of Mendota #4079 VFW Aux. I taught jr and sr high school science for 33 years before retiring. Besides my work in the auxiliary, I sew quilts for my church. I also volunteer at one of our local food pantries.
