I'm a dedicated member of the VFW Auxiliary, having joined under my father Elton Murphy, a proud Korean War veteran in 2008.  With years of service to the Auxiliary, I have held various leadership roles, including Auxiliary Secretary for 9 years, District Secretary for 17 years, District Secretary for 13 years, and Department Youth Activities Chairman for 3 years.  I am looking forward to leading the Scholarships Program for the 2025-2026 year.

In recognition of her commitment to the organization's growth, Barb was honored with a Mentoring Award for her exceptional efforts in recruiting and training new members. A passionate advocate for veterans and their families, she has devoted countless hours to serving the Auxiliary and supporting its mission.

 Outside of her involvement with the VFW, Barb has been married to Dennis for 12 years, but together for 25 years.  They have 2 children, Dustin and Kelsey as well as their beloved Beagle, Bruno.  She remains a respected leader and mentor, dedicated to inspiring and gu8iding others in their service to the VFW Auxiliary
